In a recent meeting, I heard Pastor Dale Gentry say this. “The next step beyond “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”” is “I will do all things through Christ.” Of course, Pastor Dale was quoting Philippians 4:13, and then paraphrasing it to make his point. His paraphrase was a positive confession of the believer’s potential. He was encouraging us to believe the Scriptures and apply the biblical principle to our thinking and therefore, our actions. Psalms 107:2 (NKJV) says, “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,” In Mark 9:23 (NKJV), Jesus said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.””
The principle that Pastor Dale pointed to in his paraphrase is what Jesus said. “If you can believe, all things are possible.” We simply need to declare the Scriptures, apply them to our faith and act accordingly. Perhaps it is time for you to look beyond the barriers, and the doubts. Perhaps it is time to look beyond what you think are your limitations. It is always a good time for a faith-filled declaration of the truth from Mark 9:23. Just do it and you walk into your destiny. Now, do not try to argue with that. They are not my words. Jesus said them and Pastor Dale reminded us of them. Just say and do what God says you can do. Now, get busy and do not stop until what seemed impossible becomes reality and your dreams are fulfilled.
