Fulfilling our God-given potential in ministry is a primary concern we face. All of us wrestle with how we may become more effective, fruitful and significant in the call to leadership. We recognize that, for us to fulfill our potential, there is a need to clearly understand ourselves within the dynamics of the journey God has appointed to us. As pastors and leaders, we spend countless hours trying to sort out these things out.
Dr. Bob Abramson’s Leadership Round Table is an informal forum for personal growth and ministry development. It is an opportunity to learn through a guided exchange of views about our common experiences and journeys of service to the Lord. Dr. Bob will engage you in a variety of issues. Some will be pre-selected, and others discovered as the discussions progress. Dr. Bob will challenge you to look at who you are, who you might become, and how you might take your potential to its fullest measure.
Your time together with Dr. Bob and the others at the table will provoke your thinking. It will cause you to reexamine your understanding of yourself and the call on your life. Additionally, it will be a time of building solid relationships with others who journey the paths you do.
The Round Table is a gathering that may be scheduled for either one or two days (or a combination of days and evenings). It is hosted by a local church, whose pastor brings together a group of his or her peers to be part of the Round Table. Dr. Bob comes to the group. The group will usually number twelve or less.
