Make Sure Jesus is in Your Shoes

Podcast: Makes sure Jesus is in Your Shoes

I’m Dr. Bob, and for just a Mentoring Minute, I would like to share something my pastor, Dr. Tom Peters said. It can be a life-changer for you. He said, “If you say the devil is under your feet, you better make sure Jesus is in your shoes.” Obviously, he did not mean this literally. You cannot put Jesus in your shoes. He was referring to believers walking in the authority of the King of kings. Romans 16:20 (NKJV) “And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen”

When Jesus is the Lord of your life, and you walk in step with Him, He will be there with you every step of the way. He will impute to you, or place within you, His authority. Then, your circumstances, the devil or anything unexpected you may face, no longer has the right to stop you from your destiny. As a believer in Christ, you are given God’s authority, along with the God-given ability and right to walk through the difficulties and barriers with good success. As you do, “Make sure Jesus is in your shoes.” Then, step on the devil’s ugly face. Following Jesus is the only intelligent path for believers to travel. Follow Him faithfully. The obstacles of your life will become your stepping-stones to destiny. I’m Dr. Bob, and that’s a Mentoring Minute for faith-filled feet that can lead you to great things.
