Things You Know

I’m Dr. Bob and for just a Mentoring Minute, I want to suggest that you spend time thinking about what you know, and not worrying about what you don’t know. For example, you know God is for you, so who could be successfully against you. Here is another thing you know. God is never very far away when you need Him. Finally, here is the best part. Your well-being is His highest priority. That is why there was a cross at Calvary. Now, isn’t that better than worrying about things that God can so easily deal with, even when you cannot? Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) says  “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. {7} If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” I’m Dr. Bob. That’s three indisputable truths, and a powerful Scriptural piece of instruction that make the idea of worrying seem foolish. You can listen to my previous Mentoring Minutes at www.mentoringministry.com/blogs. As an Australian friend of mine always say, “No worries mate!”
