Happy Lips
I’m Dr. Bob and for just a mentoring minute I want to ask if you would like to know a valuable secret? Sure you would! Everyone likes a secret, especially one as valuable as this. The secret is… happy lips! Yes, happy lips! Psalm 63:3-5 says, “Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. {4} Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. {5} My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.” I like to say, “And my mouth shall praise You with happy lips.” I do so because the Bible says, “for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.” (Psalm 6:45) When your lips get happy with praise for God, the rest of you will join in. It’s a no-brainer! Go ahead. Lift your hands, open your mouth and let your lips celebrate His lovingkindness. You will make happy noises.
